I am a PhD student in the School of Computing doing research in the field of neuroscience. I am interested in combining computational and experimental techniques to answer fundamental questions in neuroscience. The methods I use include computer vision, machine learning, signal processing, 3D imaging and calibration, and mathematical modelling of single neurons and small neuronal networks. In my PhD I look into the the neuromechanical control of Caenorhabditis elegans head motor behaviour in 3D environments.
